Search CTR
Definition
CTR, or click-through rate, is clicks divided by impressions.
Why It Exists
It shows how often search visibility turns into traffic.
How It Fits Into The System
CTR connects impressions, clicks, search intent, titles, snippets, and average position.
Important Details
Low CTR is not always bad. Some queries are informational, some results answer the question directly, and some pages rank for broad queries that do not match intent.
Example
If a page gets 100 impressions and 5 clicks, its CTR is 5%.
